Who are we?
Downstream Environmental is a wastewater
processing/innovative technology company. The company's
business is disposal and processing of transportable non-hazardous
liquid waste (grease, grit and septage). Our plant is
company-owned and operated in Houston, Texas.
Downstream
has become the leading expert in the technical, political and
regulatory
problems that affect the grease, grit and septage disposal industry.
Downstream
built and tested a pilot plant proving the technical and economic merit
of
Downstream Environmental's proprietary process in 1997 and 1998.
Currently,
the company operates a three-acre plant site located in southwest
Houston near
Beltway 8 at Westpark Drive, located at 3737 Walnut Bend. Plant phone number is

Downstream
has obtained a Type V Permit and is legally authorized by the State of
Texas
Commission for Environmental Quality and the City of Houston to operate
a
wastewater treatment plant on the Westpark site.
A 150,000-gallon per day plant design
has
been approved by the State of Texas.
Hours of operations
The
plant's operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to
6:00 p.m.
and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location
Downstream's
plant is located at 3737 Walnut Bend, Houston, Texas 77042. Take Beltway 8 to the
Westpark Exit. Go
1/2 mile west on Westpark to the
intersection of Walnut Bend and Westpark.
There is a DHL facility on the southeast
corner of Westpark and Walnut
Bend. Go
south on Walnut Bend the
street will dead end into the front entrance gate of Downstream
Environmental's
plant. The plant is
located right off
Westpark west of Beltway 8 and east of Wilcrest.
This is known as the Westchase District.
